**for the bread machine**
Add to bread machine in this order
1 cup water
3 large eggs
1/3 cup coconut oil melted
1 pound Trader Joes Chicken breakfast sausage links cut into pieces
4 1/2 – 5 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sugar
1 scant Tablespoon yeast
I set my bread maker to 2.5lb loaf with a light crust, it tends to over bake on the multigrain flour setting.
Watch carefully until everything is incorporated. You may need to add more flour or water depending on the humidity level of the day or the sausage.
Very nice loaf with a slight hint of the sausage. Great toasted and served with scrambled eggs or an omelet, or toasted and used as the bread for a breakfast sandwich. If the next loaf lasts long enough I will try it for french toast!
